Our bike-safe track consists of a metal construction system with an extruded elastomer profile, which fills the open track groove. This allows bicycles and pedestrians to cross the rails safely. When a tram travels on the rail, it presses the profile into the track groove chamber by means of its weight. After passing over it, the profile assumes its original shape and closes the track groove again. The bike-safe track is compatible with standard rails and is suitable for curves as well as switches and extension devices.
Our Railrestore product solution allows for repairing rail breakages up to 30 percent faster and in consistently high quality. This is ensured by special molded parts that are installed quickly and easily, and also stabilize the fracture vertically. The breaking point is also insulated against stray current in order to prevent future damage. Following a repair with Railrestore, the track is ready to be used again and is protected by the patented longitudinal welding against further rail breakages after being subjected to high heat during welding. A track that has been restored with Railrestore therefore has the same service life as an undamaged track.
Rail Comfort System
Our RCS Rail Comfort System represents the latest and most innovative generation of continuous rail bearings on the market. It not only features above-average elasticity, resilience and durability, but it also significantly reduces shocks, vibrations and losses due to stray currents. RCS is suitable for straight and curved rail profiles as well as switches and transitions. It can also be used on all surface types, such as roads, separate tracks or routes or grass. In the process, we can adapt the base profile to individual requirements with regard to rail deflection.
RCS with Sensor fibers
Our rail base profile with sensor fibers has integrated piezo fibers that collect information about mass, speed and condition of axles and trains. Correlation measurements and models generated thereby allow for detection of wear and damage even during a crossing (smart maintenance).
