Tom Lenaerts joined Datwyler in 2017 and has held the positions of production manager, Datwyler Production System manager and Process & Validation manager in the Belgian plant before taking up the position of Head of Global Process Engineering. Before being part of the Datwyler organization, Tom worked for 14 years within an engineering & consultancy firm. He has a Masters in Industrial Engineering.

He has established a deep Digital Thought Leadership, with the ability to develop guiding roadmaps, to apply digital technologies into real manufacturing environment, supporting the required changes. Currently he is applying such expertise into the Pharma Packaging world to bring quality and productivity to the next level, leveraging the state of the art techniques in automation, data collection, deep analytics and enabling the benefits of the Digital Twin in such a demanding environment.
