Renewed sustainability strategy and measures are having an impact
Thanks to the renewed sustainability strategy and the measures implemented, Datwyler improved its EcoVadis rating from 56 to 62 points within a year. In the "Environment" and "Sustainable Procurement" themes, the company increased its rating by 10 points each, from 60 to 70 points for "Environment" and from 50 to 60 points for "Sustainable Procurement". These ratings place Datwyler in the top 10% for "Environment" and in the top 7% for "Sustainable Procurement" of elastomer companies assessed worldwide by EcoVadis. With the EcoVadis audit and rating, Datwyler makes its corporate social responsibility and sustainability performance available to its customers in a standardised way.

EcoVadis is a leading independent rating agency that analyses and assesses the sustainability performance of companies and their suppliers worldwide. EcoVadis' methodology is based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. The sustainability scorecard illustrates companies' sustainability performance using 21 indicators in the four themes of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
