Datwyler gained momentum in the first half of 2025 despite a challenging environment. In the Healthcare division, particularly the recovery in market demand and the successful ramp-up of new products had a positive impact. Despite muted demand caused by ongoing trade conflicts, Datwyler continues to drive high-margin, innovative projects in the Industrial division, with solid growth in the Food & Beverage segment. Currency-adjusted, revenue increased by 1.3% to CHF 563.0 million, and the EBIT margin improved to 12.2%. The ForwardNow transformation program is progressing according to plan.

Datwyler is streamlining its U.S. production network and transferring the production and distribution activities of the Vandalia site in Ohio to two existing Datwyler U.S. sites. This measure is part of the comprehensive ForwardNow transformation program, which enhances key synergies and further increases competitiveness.

As customer demand increases for innovative, sustainable O-Ring solutions, Datwyler is expanding its production capabilities with new molding machines installed at its sites in China and Mexico. Capable of producing thousands of O-Rings every hour, the new machines will use the latest injection molding technology to produce top quality elastomer components for applications such as battery thermal management, power electronics, transmission, sensors, plus electric braking and driveline systems. Further potential solutions for customers from different industries are also being evaluated.
