Datwyler is a new member of the Circular Rubber Platform, through which it is actively committing to a more sustainable circular economy in the elastomer industry.

Membership of the Circular Rubber Platform

The Circular Rubber Platform is an independent initiative which brings together companies in the elastomer industry with the aim of promoting the usage of sustainable materials and innovative recycling solutions. Since its foundation in October 2023, the platform has grown to 81 companies and three universities. Through its membership, Datwyler is intensifying its commitment to the increased use of more sustainable raw materials – whether bio-based or recycled – and contributing to a reduction in carbon footprint through a more environmentally friendly elastomer production.

Comprehensive GRI Sustainability Report

With its membership in the Circular Rubber Platform, Datwyler is strengthening its effort to actively promote sustainability in the elastomer industry. The company has always been committed to social and ecological responsibility and has for the last 17 years been publishing a sustainability report according to the internationally recognised standard of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The comprehensive sustainability report for 2024 documents the company’s progress in the ESG focus areas of environmental, social and corporate governance.
