Datwyler’s Venture Unit Wearable Sensors is supporting cutting-edge neurotechnology research by providing high-quality in-ear electrodes to KIT for use with the OpenEarable ExG platform. These electrodes are being deployed in the PASCEI project at Heidelberg University, where the acquisition platform “OpenEarable ExG” is evaluated alongside gold-standard polysomnography in a real-world sleep study with up to 40 participants and at least one night of recording each. The collaboration explores how in-ear electrophysiology can help bring robust, PSG-grade sleep monitoring closer to practical, open, and scalable neurotech solutions.
