Datwyler is increasing capacity for all three of its production standards in Pune, India. The expansion will nearly double capacity and add 400 jobs.
Climate-neutrality is one of our focus topics. We continuously increase the share of electricity from renewable sources – currently already at 38%.
Use of solar panels to generate electricity will help reduce intake from the public power grid. Supply of more than 2’100 MWh of electricity per year. Reduction of CO2 emission by some 1’800 tons per year. Second phase with solar panels on roof of new building (2022) will add another 2’500 MWh of electricitiy and reduce CO2-emissions by another 2’200 tons.

Yearly donations to improve local infrastructure, particularly education and drinking water supply. Modernization of three public kindergartens completed. Cleaning unit from Datwyler plant ensures sustainability of renovations.
