Datwyler has successfully developed electrically conductive elastomer materials with the ability to conduct electricity, which is an uncommon property for elastomer since it is typically non-conductive.
To gather diverse perspectives on potential applications for this newly developed material portfolio, Datwyler has launched an open innovation campaign to collect input from individuals outside the company. This initiative aims to gain a deeper understanding and outside view of the material’s capabilities and possible use cases.
Every individual outside of Datwyler is invited to join the community and contribute with ideas or any other inputs. Datwyler colleagues can also contribute to a separate internal campaign created specifically for this purpose.
The open innovation campaign remains open until April 5th 2023. Once the submission is completed, all ideas will be rated according to pre-defined criteria and a jury will evaluate the best ideas. The top 10 ideas will then be chosen and recognized for their excellence.
