Dätwyler goes above and beyond environmental regulations
With its new exhaust air purification systems, Dätwyler has exceeded the current environmental regulations and is playing a pioneering role in the Chinese region of Anhui. This was also confirmed and acknowledged by local environmental authorities. Based on the knowledge gained, the second production hall in Ningguo will also get new exhaust air purification systems as a next step.
Responsible use of natural resources
Dätwyler takes care to make responsible use of natural resources and endeavours to minimize the impacts of its production facilities and components on people and the environment. Among other things, this is reflected by the fact that the Dätwyler Group aims to exceed the environmental regulations at its production sites and has public goals for reducing relative resource consumption per sales unit. As a member of the UN Global Compact since 2009, Dätwyler has already undertaken to adhere to the ten principles in the fields of human rights, labour practices, environmental protection, and anti-corruption at a global level and to fulfil its social responsibility. Dätwyler reports on the progress of its sustainability activities in an annual sustainability report in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative.
