GRI
Since 2009 we are publishing a sustainability report according to the worldwide accepted GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards.
The GRI Standards are the most widely used standards for sustainability reporting worldwide.
In its Sustainability Report, Datwyler reports transparently on progress and achievement of objectives in the relevant sustainability topics.

CDP
By participating in CDP, our stakeholders receive standardized reporting on energy consumption

CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) operates a leading global system for reporting on energy and resource consumption on behalf of institutional investors.
Since 2013, we have been reporting our energy consumption and the resulting CO2 emissions to CDP and, since 2022, also our water and deforestation impacts. This standardized reporting helps stakeholders understand our environment-related efforts.

EcoVadis
The EcoVadis audit and rating makes our corporate social responsibility and sustainability activities available to our customers in a standardized form.

EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading providers for corporate social responsibility (CSR) audits.
In 2025, the globally recognized and independent rating agency has awarded Datwyler platinum, the highest standard, for its sustainability performance for the second time. This maintains Datwyler in the top 1% of more than 150,000 rated companies from 185 countries.

SBTI
By joining the Science Based Targets initiative, we are making our efforts to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1, 2 and 3 binding.
SBTi is the leading global framework for setting science-based climate targets for companies and shows how corporate greenhouse gas emissions from scope 1, 2 and 3 need to evolve over time to meet the global climate target set out in the Paris Climate Agreement. This target is to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
Over 12,000 companies have already joined the SBTi and we have been one of them since the end of June 2024 and joined the over 10,000 with validated targets as of December 2025.

Circular Rubber Platform
As a member of the Circular Rubber Platform we aim to increase recycling content and raw materials from environmentally friendly resources in our products in order to reduce our CO2 footprint.
The Circular Rubber Platform brings together companies in the rubber industry that are taking a proactive approach to sustainability by showcasing their sustainable rubber raw materials (bio-based and recycled) or services for recycling or reuse. The purpose of the platform is to connect these companies and create an environment that stimulates sustainable developments.

Alliance to Zero
As a founding member of the Alliance to Zero we aim to facilitate the transition of the pharma sector to compliance with net zero emissions in line with the goal of the Paris Climate Agreement.
As a working group with commonly shared goals, the Alliance to Zero is engaging in collaboration with academia and non-profit organisations as well as sponsors projects. They involve, connect and coordinate suppliers, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers and service providers along the supply chain of pharma products.
