Based on trust and respect.
Our customers, suppliers, and other business partners can be certain that their business relations with Datwyler Group companies are based on trust and respect. We are convinced that these traditional basic values are regaining importance in our continually globalising world and that they can even be an additional competitive advantage. Based on this conviction, the Datwyler Group has introduced specific Code of Conducts for its employees and its suppliers and joined the UN Global Compact. We have committed ourselves to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact relating to human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption initiatives.
The following criteria are top priority for our Procurement Organization
High quality
Our suppliers maintain a modern, efficient system of quality control. For certain business areas, a certification according to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or ISO 15378 is a basic requirement for working with us.
Perfect services and delivery performance
High flexibility, reliability, and problem-solving expertise are among the strengths of our suppliers.
Economics
A key component of our cost calculation is based on the prices of our suppliers. We expect a fair and transparent pricing.
Technical standard
We partner up with responsible suppliers who support us with creativity and innovation to build on our technological leadership.
Sustainability
Our suppliers comply with current laws and directives. Certifications such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 support the idea of sustainability. Whereas holding such certifications is not mandatory for a partnership, we certainly have a preference for certified suppliers. Being certified will of course also be taken into account during a supplier’s performance measurement.
Compliance
Datwyler expects all its suppliers to commit to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact relating to human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption initiatives. These principles form the basis of the Datwyler Supplier Code of Conduct, which must be signed by all suppliers. Besides that, following the standards according to REACH, IMDS, and Conflict Minerals is equally important.
