Datwyler Achieves SBTi Validation and Maintains EcoVadis Platinum Rating

Datwyler (SIX: DAE), a leading provider of system-critical elastomer components, has received validation of its near-term, group-wide greenhouse gas reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The validation confirms that Datwyler’s climate targets are aligned with current climate science and the objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Datwyler has committed to reducing its absolute scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions 63% by 2035, compared with the 2023 base year. In addition, SBTi has validated a reduction of absolute scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services by 37.5% by 2035, compared with the 2024 base year. To achieve these targets, Datwyler is pursuing a structured approach focused on improving energy efficiency, optimizing production processes and increasing the use of recycled and bio-based raw materials across its operations and supply chain.


EcoVadis Platinum rating confirms Datwyler position in the top 1%
In 2025, Datwyler was awarded the EcoVadis Platinum rating for the second consecutive year, placing the company among the top 1% of more than 150’000 companies assessed worldwide. The rating reflects Datwyler’s continued progress in environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and supports its positioning with globally active customers in its target markets. EcoVadis is an independent sustainability rating provider assessing companies across environmental, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement criteria.
