We are proactively using the new possibilities and opportunities of digitalization. To optimize our coffee capsule production at the plant in Schattdorf, Switzerland, we rely on simulation software from Siemens. The digital twin simulates the internal logistics processes, allowing production to be optimized and also future scenarios to be created. In its customer magazine, Siemens reported on the highly automated production process at Datwyler, the challenges involved in introducing the software, and possible future collaboration.
