Datwyler completes the sale of Reichelt.
Datwyler has completed the announced sale of online distributor Reichelt as of 29 September 2021. The antitrust authorities approved the transaction without imposing any restrictions. Thus, all terms of the contract have been fulfilled and the private equity firm Invision has become the new owner of all companies of Reichelt and its associated companies. The parties agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.
With the sale of Reichelt, the transformation of Datwyler into a specialist in system-critical elastomer components is now complete. In the forthcoming phase, the company will be focussing on organic growth as well as targeted acquisitions to strengthen existing business sustainably.
